Control of Transport in Molecular Nanocontacts

SFB767 Area C Symposium, March 26-27, 2015 at MPI in Stuttgart

The focus of this mini-symposium is on nanocontacts involving molecules, magnetism and superconductivity. The topic mainly aims for the research taking place in the SFB 767 area C projects, but everyone is welcome.

The invited speakers are:

  • Emanuel Loertscher, IBM Zurich
  • Uta Schlickum, MPI-FKF
  • Katharina Franke, TU Berlin
  • Alexander Weismann, Universität Kiel

After lunch on Thursday 26th, there will be six talks for about 45min including discussion. 
In the evening of the first day, there will be a poster session.

On the second day there are some slots for PhD short talks, a lab tour and time for discussion.

Accommodation is organized in a hotel nearby in single and double rooms and will be paid by the SFB 767.
