Workshop “Voice & Body Coaching” for Doctoral students & Postdocs (female und male!)
Trainer: Julie Stearn
Integral to voice and body training is the central idea that physical and vocal dynamics are connected to the speaker’s motivation and to the importance of the information being communicated. The workshop gives special attention to breath, articulation, intonation, volume, modulation and tempo. Participants will also improve non-verbal aspects such as gesture, positioning, distance, eye contact and relationship with media. They will monitor their improvement and implement feedback through active role-play exercises in which they present themselves.
Learn to communicate with clarity and precision by making conscious vocal and nonverbal choices!

We are looking for stories and observations within your every day life at the university (at the lab, the library, the kitchen corner,…)

Topic: Gender Dynamics in your daily routine at work

Question: Where do you observe in your everyday routine that the dimension gender matters?

When: From May 22^th till June 28^th. There will be meetings scheduled with Cartoonists within lunchtime, for 1-1,5 hours. Those meetings are the time to share observations and stories within a small group.

Aim: Your Observations / Storys deliver scenes that the cartoonists will portrait in a humorous and abstract way afterwards. All Cartoons are going to be finalised in autumn, presented together and will be printed on postcards.
